Privacy Policy of the HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION

1. Purpose of the policy

This Privacy Policy contains basic information about the processing of personal data, in connection with the operation of the HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION. We undertake all activities on the basis of the applicable legislation. We make every effort to do so fairly and transparently, protecting your privacy.

2. Processing of personal data

The administrator of the personal data is the HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION with its registered office at ul. Wilgowa 69; 42-271 Częstochowa. KRS 0001088140. The HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION may process personal data obtained in connection with the activities of the Foundation, for purposes which result from the Articles of Association of the Foundation, and which include in particular:

    • supporting the education and upbringing of children and teenagers,
    • maintaining and promoting national tradition, cultivating Polish identity and developing national, civic and cultural awareness,
    • promoting culture and art,
    • social assistance, including assistance for families and individuals in difficult life situations and equalisation of opportunities for these families and individuals,
    • activities aimed at professional and social integration and reintegration of people at risk of social exclusion,
    • promotion of employment, activation of the unemployed and people at risk of redundancy,
    • activities for people of retirement age,
    • activities for the disabled,
    • supporting the development of local communities,
    • charitable and philanthropic activities,
    • activities for children and teenagers, including recreational activities for children and teenagers,
    • supporting and promoting physical culture,
    • support for victims of disasters, natural disasters, armed conflicts, civil wars and wars abroad,
    • activities promoting European integration and developing contacts and cooperation between societies,
    • assistance and organisation of voluntary work,
    • promotion of Poland abroad,
    • promoting family, maternity, parenthood, dissemination and protection of children’s rights,
    • counteracting addictions and social pathologies,
    • activity for the benefit of non-governmental organisations and entities mentioned in art. 3, paragraph 3, within the scope defined in items 1-32a of the Act dated 24 April 2003 on public benefit activity and voluntary work,
    • activity for the benefit of social economy entities and social enterprises as referred to in the Act dated 5 August 2022 on social economy.

3. The HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION processes personal data only to the extent necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected. The HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION processes personal data mainly on the basis of:

    • 6 (1) (b) RODO, i.e. the processing of data for the purpose of taking action in connection with the conclusion or performance of a contract (e.g. conclusion of a civil law contract, conclusion of a volunteer contract, conclusion of a donation contract from an individual);
    • 6 (1) (c) RODO, i.e. processing of data in order to fulfil obligations resulting from legal regulations, e.g. the Accounting Act or job recruitment,
    • 6 (1) (f) RODO, i.e. the legitimate interest of the administrator, i.e. the processing of data in order to inform about the activities of the Foundation, to inform about the use of the donation and to thank donors; the data of press and media representatives; the data of persons participating in public events organised by us, the data of persons contacting us and the data of persons donating 1.5% of their tax to us in order to send thanks,
    • 6 (1) (a) RODO, i.e. the consent of the person whose data will be processed by the Foundation, i.e. the processed personal data of newsletter subscribers, persons donating 1.5 % tax, persons taking part in competitions and filling in surveys, as well as image and health-related data of our charges,
    • 6 (1) (e) RODO, i.e. the performance of a public task. Detailed information on the legal basis for our processing of personal data is indicated by us in the relevant information clauses made available prior to the provision of personal data.

4. The HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION processes personal data obtained in connection with the activities of the Foundation.

      • Personal data of recipients of the Foundation’s activities.
        As a Foundation, we may process, among other things, personal data such as name, age, education, health information, telephone number, home address, registered address, data of family members, work, family and financial situation.
      • User data of hurasfamilyfoundaton.org
        Through our websites, we only collect data to the extent that it is necessary to manage these websites, to ensure the smooth operation of the functionalities offered within them and to analyse the effectiveness of the communication.
        When using the Foundation’s services, so-called system logs – anonymous information such as the time of the user’s visit to the site, the user’s IP address, URL, browser type, download data, etc. – are automatically recorded.
      • Data of people supporting us with donationsFinancial support of the HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION is possible by making a donation by bank transfer to a bank account. In the case of a donation made to us by bank transfer to a bank account, we process the personal data provided to us by the bank, i.e. name, account number, donation amount, address.
      • Data of people donating 1.5 % of their tax
        From the tax office, we receive data of persons who have donated 1.5% of their tax and who have indicated their consent to provide us with their data in the PIT form. These are: name and surname of the taxpayer, address, amount of the donated tax, data of the spouse – in the case of joint tax settlement – and possible additional information provided in the 1.5 % section of the PIT form.
      • Data of newsletter subscribers
        We process the names and e-mail addresses of subscribers to the Foundation’s newsletter in order to send information about the activities of the HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION.
      • Data of press and media representatives
        The HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION processes data of journalists obtained directly from them, from the editorial office or from the Internet. The scope of the data processed may include: name, e-mail address, telephone number, editorial address.
      • Data of employees or other persons representing companies and institutions which we interact with
        The Foundation processes data of employees or other persons obtained directly from them, from their employer or from the Internet. The range of data processed may include: name, email address, telephone number, company address, history of interaction and collaboration.
      • Data of persons contacted by e-mail (domain addresses), telephone, text message or by letter
        This data may include your name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and any other information contained in the content of your message. The provision of this data is voluntary.
      • Data of persons communicating with the Foundation via social media and instant messaging services
        Facebook, Twitter and WhatsApp are the controllers of their users’ personal data and process it under their own terms and conditions. When you interact with us via Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp (liking/watching a page, joining a group administered by us, reacting to posts, shares, comments, private messages), the Foundation becomes the controller of your personal data in addition to Facebook, Twitter or WhatsApp. We process data such as name/nickname, image, public profile and information provided in messages or comments.
      • Data of participants in events organised by the HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION
        When organising events that require registration, we normally ask for: name, email address, telephone number, unless the nature of the event requires the collection of other information.
      • Data of participants in the HURAS FAMILY FOUNDATION competitions
        The extent of the information we will process when organising a competition is set out in the competition rules. Typically, we collect the e-mail addresses of participants, the names and postal addresses of the winners.
      • Data of job candidates
        We process the data of job candidates on the basis of our entitlement under the provision of the law (Article 22 of the Labor Code), in order to carry out the recruitment procedure.
      • Data of volunteers
        The Foundation processes volunteers’ data in the following areas: name, surname, contact details, data on education and work experience, as well as data necessary for the conclusion and execution of the contract.

    5. Data sharing

    The Foundation will only share your personal data with:

      • to entities that process data on our behalf, on the basis of an authorization or a contract of entrustment of personal data processing (e.g. IT service, IT service provider, accounting office).
      • entities authorized under applicable laws (e.g. law enforcement agencies). Your data is not subject to automated decision-making, including profiling.

    6. Data retention

    Personal data will be processed for the period:

      • provided for the implementation of obligations under the law and also tax and accounting regulations,
      • for the period of the statute of limitations for claims and until the completion of possible proceedings (e.g. civil, administrative),
      • in the case of consent until the purpose of consent is fulfilled or revoked, whichever comes first.

    7. You have the following rights regarding our processing of your personal data:

    Where we have collected and processed your personal data with your consent, you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent will not affect the lawfulness of processing that took place before such withdrawal, nor will it affect the processing of your personal data based on lawful grounds for processing other than consent.

    You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the law.

    We shall respond to all requests we receive from persons who wish to exercise their data protection rights in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

    8. Data protection

    When processing your personal data, we use technical and organizational measures in accordance with the relevant legal regulations. We store most of the data electronically: primarily on our own and rented servers, and, to a limited extent, on office computers, external drives and phones. We process data through IT tools used by the team and entities cooperating with the Foundation, primarily email and the cloud for file storage. We store some of the data in the form of paper documentation, in properly secured cabinets and rooms.

    9. Cookies

    Cookies are small text files sent to your device when you visit our website.

    Cookies contain, among other things, the address of the website from which they originate, settings made by the site user regarding page layout, text size, colors, contrast version, data entered into forms, and a value, which is usually an automatically generated unique number. The cookie mechanism does not collect any personal data or any confidential information from the end user’s device.
